WebAlarm has a new lease of life with the latest smartphones. Users have instant access to their SCADA system Alarm List and individual sites, displaying status and measurements of all I/O, including any derived I/O from the site or PLCs connected at the site. WebAlarm doesn't require an App on your cellphone; it just uses your regular phone browser. It's fast to load and access to it is controlled out of a customer's SCADA Master. We've recently made changes to WebAlarm, bringing it in-house rather than having it hosted by an outside ISP. WebAlarm requires a new Powerlink software module loaded onto the SCADA Master and internet access to our Abbey Secure Hub as well. Examples below show smartphone browser screens from Porirua CC's WebAlarm implementation. Of course these screens can also be accessed from desktop PCs, making WebAlarm a very useful operational tool. Please call for pricing.
![]() Increasingly we have a number of customer sites running cellular RTUs on both the Vodafone or Telecom cellular services. The sites are initially set up to report to a SCADA Master in our offices and once commissioned are transferred to the customer's system via a Virtual SCADA Gateway on the customer's SCADA Network. Cellular RTUs offer customers scope to monitor and control equipment at sites where they have no traditional communications coverage.
